Adam is great with our 13year old son he takes the time to ensure Coen fully understands everything he is learning before moving onto the next subject, my son loves that he gets to choose the music he plays which keeps his interest peaked in Coen’s own words “best guitar teacher he has ever had” he has been going to Adam for around 3months now and will continue to grow his musical talent at Slap n pop music.Posted on Google Stephan IsaacTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Adam has been teaching my 10 year old son for just over a month now. I can only say good things about the guy. He is a super nice person and has a fantastic way of teaching children. The guitar lessons are my sons favourite time of the week. He is progressing very well and is very comfortable with Adam. I would highly recommend him. Top marks for Adam :)Posted on Google Joshua ThackrayTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been having lessons with Adam at Slap 'n' Pop Music and would highly recommend him. He explains things clearly, keeps lessons relaxed, and tailors everything to your level and the music you enjoy. He also covers music theory in a really easy-to-understand way, so you actually know what you’re playing and why. I’ve made great progress in a short time, and it’s always a good laugh as well. Top teacher 👍Posted on Google NellyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Adam is a very friendly and competent bass teacher. Common questions
I teach in-person at my studio in Sheffield (S13 9QQ), and online worldwide via Zoom. The studio is easy to reach from across South Yorkshire — Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster and surrounding areas. Online lessons work well for students further afield, and I’ve taught players in the US, Europe and Asia.
Both. I teach absolute beginners through to advanced players, including students preparing for grades, auditions or session work. Lessons are tailored to your level and the music you actually want to play, rather than a fixed syllabus.
Lessons are charged per session, with no contract or block-booking required:
– 60-minute lesson: £25
– 45-minute lesson: £20
– 30-minute lesson: £15
The same rates apply for in-person lessons at the Sheffield studio and online lessons via Zoom. Full lesson info →
