One-to-one lessons
Bass guitar, guitar, double bass, piano, ukulele or music theory. In-person at the Sheffield studio or online worldwide. Beginners to advanced players welcome.
Session bass work
Need a session bassist for your track? I’ve played on releases with Mike Stock, Shayne Ward and Sarah Darling, and recorded at Abbey Road. Remote and in-person work both fine.
Bass transcriptions
Custom bass transcriptions of any track, delivered as accurate, playable notation. Order online with fast turnaround.

Common questions
I teach in-person at my studio in Sheffield (S13 9QQ), and online worldwide via Zoom. The studio is easy to reach from across South Yorkshire — Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster and surrounding areas. Online lessons work well for students further afield, and I’ve taught players in the US, Europe and Asia.
Both. I teach absolute beginners through to advanced players, including students preparing for grades, auditions or session work. Lessons are tailored to your level and the music you actually want to play, rather than a fixed syllabus.
Lessons are charged per session, with no contract or block-booking required:
– 60-minute lesson: £25
– 45-minute lesson: £20
– 30-minute lesson: £15
